There’s something so special and unique about photos taken right after Baby is born. Everyone is just getting to know and adore the new member of the family. The tenderness and tinyness are all there, and the sleep deprivation hasn’t quite set in yet. For this session, Julie contacted me when baby boy was born and together we picked a time that worked for their family for me to come to the hospital. When I arrived, I had some precious moments with just mom and baby before his proud big sisters arrived. I focused on capturing their natural interactions as a brand new family of five. Julie is a fantastic photographer herself, so she put her family in optimal light, but normally I would do this. Gentle prompting from me and the complete natural wonder produced some sweet moments.

This sweet family was so loving and excited to welcome their little brother. I can’t believe he’s already a year old now!
